Jaime Herrera grew up in Southwest Washington and graduated from Prairie High School where she played on the women’s basketball team. She earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Washington. Herrera worked in Washington D.C. was a Senior Legislative Aide for U.S. Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Spokane) and a state representative for the 18th Legislative District in Washington State. Where she was the Congresswoman’s lead advisor on health care policy, education, veterans’ and women’s issues. She is a Member of the Washington State Legislature and serves on the Health Care and Wellness Committee and the Transportation Committees. She is a member of the Republican Party, and is the youngest female U. S. Representative. Jaime and her husband live in Camas.
