Ann Kirkpatrick was born on March 24, 1950 in McNary, Arizona. In 1972, Kirkpatrick received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arizona. She soon returned to the University of Arizona to earn her law degree in 1979. Ann Kirkpatrick served in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2005-2007. In 2009, Ann Kirkpatrick moved on to serve in the United States House of Representatives, losing her re-elect in 2010, but coming back in 2012.  She ran for the Senate in 2016 against John McCain but was defeated.

 

Ann Kirkpatrick is looking to return to Congress in the Arizona House race to replace Rep. Martha McSally, who is running for the open Senate seat.
