About

Dan Branch is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University School of Law (now the Dedman School of Law), at which he was an editor of the law review. He is an alumnus of the Institute on Comparative Political & Economic Systems at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and he holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from Oklahoma Christian University, having graduated summa cum laude in 1980.He was also a member of the Texas House of Representatives from Dallas, Texas. First elected in 2002 as a Republican, he represented District 108 from 2003 to 2015. In 2020, he will run for election to the House of Representatives seat for Texas district 32.
