About

Elise Stefanik graduated with Honors from Harvard University where she was one of only three women in her class to be recognized with the Women's Leadership Award. She was elected by her peers to serve as the highest ranking woman on the Student Advisory Committee of Harvard’s Institute of Politics, the largest political undergraduate organization.


She served as Director of Vice Presidential Debate Prep to Paul Ryan where she oversaw all debate preparations for the Republican Vice Presidential nominee. Previously, she served as Policy Director of the 2012 Republican National Platform. She served as Director of Communications for the Foreign Policy Initiative, which launched Defending Defense, a coalition of think tanks warning of the dangers of across the board defense cuts known as the sequester. Elise was the Policy Director on Governor Tim Pawlenty’s presidential campaign.
 

Elise Stefanik served in the West Wing of the White House for President George W. Bush on the Domestic Policy Council Staff and in the Chief of Staff’s office where she assisted in overseeing the policy development process on all economic and domestic policy issues.
