Frank Pallone, Jr. was born October 30, 1951 in Long Beach, New Jersey. Pallone is a graduate of Middlebury College, The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and Rutgers School of Law-Camden. Prior to being elected to Congress, Pallone was a Member of the Long Branch city council from 1982 to 1988 and the New Jersey Senate from 1983 to 1988. Frank Pallone was first elected to Congress in 1988 and serves on the powerful Energy and Commerce Committee, where he is the lead Democrat on the Subcommittee on Health.
