About

Hakeem Jeffries was sworn in as a NY State Assemblyman in 2007.  He successfully passed legislation that reformed stop and frisk policies.  In the beginning of his second term, he launched Project Reclaim, an initiative designed to transform vacant luxury apartments throughout central Brooklyn into affordable homes for working and middle class families.  He received his Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Binghamton, where he graduated with honors.  He then received his Master’s in public policy from Georgetown University. 

 

Hakeem Jeffries attended New York University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude.
