Jill Tokuda is running for election to the U.S. House to represent Hawaii's 2nd Congressional District.

Tokuda earned her B.A. in international relations from George Washington University. At the time of her service in the state Senate, her professional experience included working as director of community relations for Reynolds Recycling, director of development for the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii, executive aide for Lieutenant Governor Mazie Hirono, and president and founder of Charitable Ventures, Incorporated.

Tokuda also ran for election for Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii. She did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on August 13, 2022.

Tokuda was a member of the Hawaii State Senate, representing District 24. She assumed office in 2006. She left office in 2018.
