Morgan Luttrell is running for election to the U.S. House to represent Texas' 8th Congressional District. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 8, 2022. He advanced from the Republican primary on March 1, 2022.

Luttrell received a bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University. He was a Navy SEAL and naval special warfare officer. Luttrell then received an advanced degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and created a health and wellness platform for veterans. Luttrell also served as special advisor in the U.S. Department of Energy. As of his primary campaign, Luttrell was an adjunct professor at Sam Houston State University.
