Jacky Rosen is a member of the U.S. Senate from Nevada. She assumed office on January 3, 2019. Her current term ends on January 3, 2025. Rosen ran for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Nevada. She won in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Before being elected to the Senate, Rosen was a member of the U.S. House, representing the 3rd Congressional District of Nevada from 2017 to 2019. She "was ranked as the fifth-most bipartisan freshman member of the House of Representatives in the 115th Congress," according to her official Senate biography. Prior to becoming a member of Congress, Rosen worked as a computer programmer and software developer.
