Senator Sheldon Whitehouse is a graduate of Yale and the University of Virginia Law School. He was appointed by President Clinton to the position of U.S. Attorney in 1994. He was elected as State Attorney and served from 1999-2003. In 2006, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse was first elected to the U.S. Senate.
