About

Todd Young was born on August 24, 1972. Upon graduating from High School in 1990, Todd enlisted in the Navy and in May of 1991, he received an appointment to the United States Military Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. After graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science, Todd accepted a commission with the Marine Corps. While in the Marines, Todd attended night school, earning his MBA at the University of Chicago School of Business. After receiving an honorable discharge in 2000, Todd received a law degree from Indiana University.  He served in the US House from 2011 to 2017.

 

Todd Young was employed by the law firm of Tucker and Tucker and is married to the former Jennifer Tucker. Todd Young and his wife reside in Bloomington, Indiana with their four children.  He was elected to the US Senate in 2016, succeeding retired Sen. Dan Coats.
